You will be working with KPMG in India, a professional services firm affiliated with KPMG International Limited. KPMG has been operating in India since August 1993, with offices in various cities across the country. Your role will involve providing services to national and international clients in diverse sectors, with a focus on delivering industry-focused and technology-enabled solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Professionals with 15 years of experience in the power sector, working with utilities and regulatory authorities in South Asia. - Policy Regulatory Advisor role requires a minimum bachelor's degree in law, economics, engineering, finance, public policy, or a related field. - Areas of expertise include theory and practice of regulations, competitive electricity market, regulatory reform, tariff modeling, legal framework for electricity market development, regional power pools, open-access, market reform, and expertise in one regulatory area. - Hands-on experience in regulatory activities such as public consultation, strategic planning, policy-related rulemaking, and analyzing utility filings. - Experience in renewable energy, particularly in a hydropower-dominant system. - Economic Regulatory Advisor role requires a minimum bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, finance, or related field, with experience in electricity regulatory entities. - Areas of expertise include regulatory/utility accounting, power system economics, regulatory analysis, project finance, financial modeling, tariff/pricing methodologies, and setting social tariff/pricing methodologies. - Legal Regulatory Advisor role requires a minimum bachelor's degree in law or public policy with experience in legal regulatory frameworks. - Areas of expertise include power sector dispute resolution, review of regulations, contract negotiation, and development/review of various documents. - Technical Regulatory Advisor role requires a minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with experience in regulated electricity utilities or regulators. - Areas of expertise include power system planning, technical operations, benchmarking & monitoring, grid code study, and tariff design. **Qualifications:** - B.E. / B.Tech./ Equivalent - MBA or equivalent from a reputed institution.,
