Role Purpose
Lead the People & Culture agenda for ADA India (Bangalore site of 270 employees), translating our global HR strategy into impactful local execution. Partner closely with India business leaders to build a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready workforce, while ensuring compliance with Indian labor laws and aligning with ADA's culture and values (Growth Mindset, Collaboration, Customer Centricity, High Performance).
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Act as trusted advisor to the India leadership team on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Localize and implement global people strategies (talent, performance, rewards, DEI, digital HR).
- Provide HR insights and data to support business decisions and growth plans.
- Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Lead local TA team to attract and hire top Data & AI / tech talent.
- Shape ADA's employer brand in India, partnering with global marketing & talent teams.
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Drive engagement initiatives, recognition programs (e.g., All Blues, True Blue), and local cultural campaigns.
- Champion manager capability building, leadership assimilation, and employee listening programs.
- Performance, Rewards & Recognition
- Execute the performance management cycle (goal setting, calibration, feedback).
- Provide India market input for salary benchmarking, variable pay design, retention strategies.
- Administer and enhance recognition frameworks to drive high performance.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the custodian of Indian employment law compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, Shops & Establishments, POSH).
- Lead sensitive investigations, grievance handling, and change/redundancy processes in line with legal standards.
- HR Operations & Digital HR
- Oversee HRIS / digital HR processes for accurate data, payroll interface, and self-service adoption.
- Monitor HR metrics (attrition, headcount, diversity, cost) and report to HQ.
- Special Projects
- Drive future-fit workforce development through skills mapping, career frameworks, and succession planning.
- Support other strategic global HR initiatives.
Key Requirements
- 812+ years HR experience, with at least 45 years in HR Business Partner or HR Site Lead roles for multinational or high-growth tech/analytics companies.
- Deep India labor law & statutory compliance expertise.
- Proven strategic HR capability translating global frameworks into local execution.
- Experience leading small HR teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong data orientation (HR analytics, dashboards) and digital HR mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management, resilience, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
