Associate Director, ESO Solutions, Technology

As an Associate Director in the Technology department, you will lead two key areas with a primary focus on Project Management and cross-functional alignment. Your role will involve overseeing the Technology Workstream of a strategic initiative in External Manufacturing area, including the implementation of EDI via collaboration platforms such as Ariba Commerce Automation and Ariba SCC. You will be responsible for defining and delivering ESO Technology projects and service portfolios, ensuring alignment with the ERP team. In addition to the above areas of responsibility, you will manage vendors essential for product utilization, handle the budget for ESO solutions, and prioritize creating a positive work environment for team members through upskilling and development. Your role will also involve promoting a Digital & IT cultural change program that emphasizes speed, agility, customer focus, and business impact-oriented thinking in IT. As a point of escalation, you will review and approve key issues and decisions. Key Performance Indicators for this role include ensuring the successful delivery and operation of standardized IT solutions aligned with the business and global technology strategy, meeting customer satisfaction metrics, and achieving yearly budget targets for technology projects and operations. Minimum educational requirements for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Essential work experience criteria consist of over 8 years in an IT environment, with at least 5 years in IT Project Management. Advanced experience in cross-functional collaboration and project/team management is essential, along with an understanding of supplier collaboration processes. Desirable criteria include familiarity with Ariba Buying, Guided Buying, and Ariba Network functionality, experience with Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, and prior work within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a multinational setting with global exposure. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) at an advanced level is required for this role.,
