Associate Director - Content Commerce

The Content Commerce team at Meesho plays a key role in driving the company's GMV/NMV growth by identifying opportunities within the creator ecosystem and implementing strategies for Meesho's content strategy across social media platforms. As an Associate Director within this team, you will collaborate closely with the VP to oversee a critical business unit. Your primary responsibilities will involve identifying growth levers, establishing efficient operating models, executing key initiatives, and managing a team of high-performing associates. The ultimate objective of your role is to significantly scale Meesho's Content Commerce business and contribute directly to its GMV/NMV growth. Your role will entail developing and executing long-term strategies and roadmaps that align with Meesho's 3-5 year plan for Content Commerce. These initiatives will focus on expanding the creator base, enhancing creators" success through Meesho product-related content, and creating a content-centric shopping experience for users. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing projects that aim to generate a substantial revenue impact for Meesho, with a target of achieving 10x growth. This will involve collaborating with organizational leaders, formulating strong hypotheses, and overseeing project execution till measurable impact is achieved. Furthermore, you will be tasked with building and nurturing a high-caliber team of managers and analysts within the content commerce business. By providing mentorship and guidance, you will empower team members to develop into future leaders within Meesho. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a Tier 1 MBA or undergraduate degree, possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in top-tier consulting or high-growth startups, demonstrate a successful track record in establishing and expanding businesses, have experience managing teams of 5-8 members, exhibit exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, showcase strong problem-solving and project management skills, and possess prior experience in team building and coaching, which would be considered advantageous for this position.,
