Associate Director - Accounting and Reporting consulting

As an Associate Director in the Accounting and Reporting Consulting (ARC) team at Uniqus, you will collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality accounting advisory services. Your role will involve maintaining client relationships with senior stakeholders, working closely with Partners & Directors, mentoring team members, and supporting business development and practice management initiatives. Your responsibilities will include participating in business development activities, managing client relationships, serving as a primary client contact, project management, providing technical accounting advice on complex issues, conducting research on accounting topics, assisting clients with new accounting standards implementation, aiding in financial reporting and statement preparation, analyzing client financial information, supervising and mentoring team members, staying updated on accounting standards and regulations, managing multiple engagements and deadlines, ensuring attention to detail, working independently, and applying professional judgment to meet engagement expectations and regulatory requirements. We are seeking accounting professionals who are enthusiastic about offering accounting and reporting consulting services to clients, including support on technical and special matters such as GAAP Conversion, accounting policy support, new accounting standard implementation, and Disclosure support for IFRS/USGAAP/Ind AS. The successful candidate will work with top global clients in various markets and industry sectors, demonstrating strong domain knowledge, project management skills, business development acumen, and people skills. It is essential to have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, stay updated on professional standards, and apply this knowledge effectively in complex client situations. Additionally, flexibility to travel on short notice, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines, integrity, values, principles, and a strong work ethic are crucial for success in this role.
