Associate, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality II

Role Overview: As an Associate in the Data Transfer, Integration & Quality II role at BNY, you will be a key part of the Wealth Management Data Governance team. Your main focus will be on implementing a collaborative data platform to streamline the movement, transformation, analysis, and communication of information. You will play a crucial role in the transformation of data within Wealth Management, ensuring information is accessible and actionable for our business partners. Your responsibilities will include learning industry best practices for data management, data quality, refining data wrangling skills, and providing data-driven insights to our front-line business partners. Key Responsibilities: - Implement a collaborative data platform to streamline the movement, transformation, analysis, and communication of information. - Build relationships with key stakeholders, understand data needs of internal clients, and collaborate with IT to deliver data solutions. - Utilize tools such as Collibra, CDQ, and DataIku to connect to databases, perform SQL functions, and create reports upon request. Qualifications Required: - B Tech/BE/BS Degree, with a preference for stats, math, or engineering degrees. - At least 3 years of experience in Data Quality and Data Management. - 2+ years of experience with Collibra and CDQ. - Strong interpersonal skills, SQL proficiency, knowledge of Snowflake, and a passion for helping others and learning new skills. - Experience with Dataiku, the financial industry, Excel, and Agile methodologies would be advantageous.
