Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Counsellor, located in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Associate Counsellor will assist students and parents by providing accurate and personalized guidance for higher education opportunities in India and abroad. Day-to-day responsibilities include understanding student needs, advising on college options, explaining courses and exams, maintaining follow-ups, and ensuring a smooth counselling experience. The role involves close communication with stakeholders to help them make informed education decisions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to gather and process information efficiently
• Proficiency in counseling techniques, student engagement, and relationship management
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of higher education in India and abroad, including courses, exams, and admission processes
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic working environment and willingness to collaborate with a team
• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline (education or counseling background preferred)
