- Candidate should have SD module SAP certificate and should have involved in 1-3 end to end project Implementation.
- Should have knowledge on other system integration with SAP system
- Handing of SAP Sales and Distibution (SD) module implementation and Support activity.
- Should have knowledge on US business on SD modules and other System integration process.
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Interact with business stakeholders to understand sales, shipping, and billing processes.
Analyze current business processes and map them to SAP SD capabilities.
Gather requirements for sales order processing, delivery, pricing, invoicing, and credit management.
2. System Configuration
Configure SD module components:
Sales Order Processing (inquiry, quotation, order, contracts)
Pricing & Discounts (pricing procedures, condition types)
Shipping & Delivery (delivery types, routes, picking, packing)
Billing & Invoicing (billing types, invoice generation)
Credit Management and Returns Processing
Customize master data: customer master, material master, customer-material info records.
3. Integration with Other Modules
Integrate SD with related modules like:
MM (Material Management) – for inventory and availability check.FI (Financial Accounting) – for revenue recognition and customer payments.
PP (Production Planning) – for make-to-order and ATP (Available to Promise).
LE (Logistics Execution) – for shipping and transportation.
4. Testing
Develop test plans and test scripts (unit testing, integration testing, UAT).
Conduct issue resolution during test cycles.
Support end-users during user acceptance testing.
5. Documentation
Prepare business process documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
Document custom developments for ABAP team (e.g., custom reports, enhancements, user exits).
6. Training and End-User Support
Train business users on SAP SD functionalities and workflows.
Provide go-live and post-go-live support.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to sales processes.
7. Change Management & Continuous Improvement
Handle change requests and system enhancements.
Propose improvements to streamline sales and billing processes.
Apply OSS notes, manage upgrades, and adapt to new SAP features (especially in S/4HANA).
