JD:

Candidate should have SAP S4 HANA certificate specific to PM module and should have involved in 1-3 end to end project Implementation. Candidate should have product-based knowledge in SAP.

. Business Requirement Gathering

Interact with maintenance, production, and operations teams to understand current processes.

Conduct workshops to capture detailed maintenance requirements.

Analyze existing business practices and map them to SAP PM functionalities.

2. SAP PM System Configuration

Configure core components of the SAP PM module:

Equipment and Functional Locations

Maintenance Plans (Time-based, Performance-based, Condition-based)

Maintenance Notifications (breakdown, preventive, inspection)

Work Orders / Maintenance Orders

Task Lists (General, Equipment, Functional Location)

Measuring Points & Measurement Documents

Maintenance BOMs

Define planner groups, work centers, maintenance strategies, and notification types.

3. Integration with Other Modules

Integrate SAP PM with:

MM (Material Management) – spare parts, purchase requisitions

FI/CO (Financials/Controlling) – cost capture and settlement

QM (Quality Management) – maintenance-related inspections

HR – assigning technicians and work hours

PP – integration with production for breakdown handling

4. Testing & Validation

Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and perform:

Unit Testing

Integration Testing

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Validate system behavior against business requirements.

5. Documentation

Functional specifications for enhancements or reports

Configuration documents

End-user training manuals

SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

6. User Training and Support

Train plant maintenance engineers, planners, and technicians.

Conduct training sessions on using maintenance notifications, orders, and reporting.

Provide go-live and post-go-live support.

Resolve incidents and service requests in the support environment.

7. Maintenance Planning & Execution

Implement strategies for:

Preventive Maintenance (PM)

Corrective Maintenance

Predictive Maintenance (condition-based using measuring points)

Help schedule and automate maintenance tasks using maintenance plans and scheduling parameters.
