Associate Accountant

As an Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day accounting tasks for Canadian clients. Your responsibilities will include maintaining books of accounts using accounting software, ensuring compliance with CRA guidelines and Canadian GAAP, and communicating with clients to provide accurate and timely information. You will collaborate with Canadian CPAs for year-end reviews and tax filing preparations, support audits and tax assessments, and prioritize multiple client accounts with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Maintaining proper documentation and adhering to data confidentiality standards will be essential in this role. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a client service mindset, will be key to interacting professionally with clients. The ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple tasks efficiently is crucial for success in this role. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for both experienced professionals and fresh graduates. The work schedule includes evening, night, and US shifts, with a performance bonus available.
