Assistant/Deputy Manager - Drivetrain

You will be responsible for designing and developing drivetrain parts of automotive transmissions. This includes layout and packaging of transmission in vehicle, designing and developing gear train parts for adapting motor/engine, and making design modifications of transmission thermal system to meet motor cooling requirements. You will also work on the development of proto parts & tooled up parts by concurrent engineering with suppliers and provide countermeasures to failures of driveline parts in testing. Additionally, you will be involved in the analysis of market problems/NVH & Assembly issues pertaining to transmission system (Pump, gear train, thermal system). Your competency should include CAD proficiency in Uni-graphics (mandatory) & CAE, as well as expertise in gear & shaft design, bearing selection, lubrication & cooling circuit design. You should have work experience with gear design software such as UG/Kissoft/Romax, and be familiar with tolerance stack-up, GD&T, statistical analysis, and BOM management. Understanding of thermal and hydraulic system design, production processes & design for manufacturing, and knowledge of problem-solving tools like FTA, DFMEA, and QC tools are also required. Ideally, you should have work experience in an OEM, possess good driving skills, and be willing to travel for this role.,
