Assistant Zonal Manager

Role Overview:

Assistant/Deputy Manager Health Insurance Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the field sales team (Team Leaders & Associates) to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Drive business growth in the

    Health Insurance vertical

    for the assigned territory.
  • Ensure effective implementation of sales strategies and processes.
  • Monitor team performance, sales funnel, and conversions, providing timely coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct regular market visits and joint calls with the team to ensure productivity and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to plan business expansion and achieve regional goals.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of local market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

ISMS Responsibilities:

  • Follow the instructions of Function Heads, operate systems on behalf of Function Heads, and serve users authorised by Function Heads;
  • Provide technical consulting assistance to Function Heads so that information systems can be built and run to meet business objectives best; Ensure the safeguarding of information in their possession.
  • Accepts responsibilities for the operation and protection of information assets, and Perform the work as delegated by the Function Head. Desired Skills and Experience-
  • Proficiency in team management skills to hold meetings and conduct performance reviews to help employees meet Performance Targets
  • Proficiency in employee development to assist employees in meeting the Performance Targets through Hiring, Coaching & Mentoring.

Key Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with

    47 years of experience

    in field sales, preferably in

    Health Insurance / BFSI sector

    .
  • Proven track record of handling a

    large field sales team

    (Team Leaders & Associates).
  • Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of sales metrics, funnels, and conversion drivers.
  • Must know

    Gujarati (regional language)

    along with Hindi/English.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends (Saturday & Sunday are mandatory working days).
