Assistant Vice President - Quality

Role Overview: As the AVP - Quality at Sterlite, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality systems to ensure the highest standards in conductor manufacturing. Your role will involve overseeing quality control, assurance, and continuous improvement processes to ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO and other relevant standards. - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with the QMS and drive improvements where necessary. - Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation. - Ensure that all products meet customer specifications and industry standards. - Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Ensure adherence to national and international standards such as ISO, IEC, and other applicable regulatory requirements. - Stay updated with industry standards and integrate them into the production process. - Implement quality improvement programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM). - Identify opportunities for process optimization to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and enhance product consistency.
