As an Assistant Vice President - Product Control at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain valuation methodologies for various financial instruments, implementing appropriate valuation models based on instrument characteristics and market conditions. - Manage the valuation process for the bank's trading portfolio, including regular valuations of financial instruments and approval of valuations by colleagues. - Analyze market data to assess valuation inputs, assumptions, and potential risks. - Prepare and review valuation reports, support in preparing regulatory filings and financial statements. - Provide valuation insights to traders, risk professionals, and senior colleagues, identifying areas for improvement in valuation methodologies and processes. **Qualifications Required:** - Product control experience in an Investment bank. - Qualified Chartered Accountant preferred. - In-depth knowledge of financial products and markets of the relevant asset class. - Good understanding of end-to-end processes of an Investment Banking and associated controls. - Excellent communication and presentation skills in both formal and informal settings, with the ability to interact with global teams. - Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize. The role is based out of Chennai & Pune.
