Assistant Vice President, Finance Reporting Senior Analyst

As an Assistant Vice President, Finance Reporting Senior Analyst at Citi, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial management and controls of the firm. Your responsibilities will include: - Supporting the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting - Assisting with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period - Performing analysis of financial results and concluding causes of variances such as accounting issues and economic events - Producing metrics to senior management highlighting key issues and remediation status - Assisting in the development of process efficiencies, improvement efforts, and data quality improvement projects - Interpreting policies, guidelines, and processes, resolving complex problems and transactions - Assisting with the management of processes, reports, procedures, or products - Operating with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment and autonomy - Acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members Qualifications required for this role: - 8+ years of related experience in the Financial Services Industry, with Project Management experience preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel - Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards - Ability to work with multiple functions - Proven problem-solving skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Bachelors Degree/University degree or equivalent experience At Citi, you will have the opportunity to grow your career, give back to your community, and make a real impact.
