Assistant Technician

Job Title: DG Assistant Technician

1. Support DG Operations

• Assist the DG Technician in starting and stopping DG sets during power failures.
• Observe and report DG performance parameters (voltage, current, frequency, load, oil pressure, coolant temperature, etc.).
• Help in checking and maintaining the readiness of DG sets at all times.

2. Maintenance Assistance

• Support preventive maintenance activities such as cleaning air filters, changing oil, and replacing consumables.
• Assist in checking coolant, lubricant, and fuel levels.
• Help in basic troubleshooting under the supervision of the DG Technician.
• Maintain cleanliness of DG room, exhaust area, and surrounding premises.

3. Fuel & Battery Management

• Assist in checking fuel stock and refilling DG tanks.
• Help in maintaining daily fuel logs and consumption records.
• Support in checking DG starting batteries and keeping terminals clean.

4. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures while handling fuel and electrical systems.
• Wear appropriate PPE and maintain good housekeeping in the DG area.
• Immediately report leaks, abnormal sounds, vibrations, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

5. Record Keeping

• Help maintain daily DG logbooks, checklists, and maintenance records.
• Update readings and operational data under the supervision of the DG Technician.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: ITI /Diploma(Electrical / Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience assisting in DG or electrical maintenance operations.
• Training: Basic knowledge of DG operation and electrical safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
