Assistant Technical Manager

You will be joining our Gyproc team in Delhi as an Assistant Manager - Technical. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, improving contractor capabilities, and ensuring successful project execution for both drywall and non-drywall systems. Your work will involve collaborating with project teams, contractors, and sales to uphold quality, foster innovation, and enhance customer satisfaction in the fast-evolving construction market. Your main responsibilities will include conducting site visits to offer hands-on technical assistance, overseeing contractor development and skills enhancement, providing product mock-ups, samples, and technical training at customer sites, assisting sales and key account teams in resolving complaints and addressing technical queries, organizing field trainings and technical upskilling programs for installers, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities to contribute to solution innovation. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, along with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in technical or project support positions within the construction or building materials industry. You must possess a solid understanding of drywall systems, acoustics, fire safety, and engineering drawings. Additionally, effective communication, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to influence contractors and partners, a proactive customer-centric approach, and robust project management abilities are essential traits for success in this role.,
