Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, GST/VAT returns, withholding tax, and other statutory tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax laws and regulations.
  • Support tax planning initiatives to optimize the companys tax position.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities during tax audits and resolve any issues or queries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records and documentation.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the management on potential impacts.
  • Assist in preparing tax provisions and reconciliations for financial statements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to ensure tax compliance.
  • Support preparation of transfer pricing documentation and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficient in tax software and MS Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
