Job Description

Position Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Reports To:  Sales Head, ASRS / Automation

Job Location/Country: Hyderabad / South India

Travel: 40 to 50%.

Role & responsibilities

  • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the highest level of prospecting and sales for EOL Automation & advanced warehousing automation solutions in the defined territory.
  • This individual will need to obtain a vast knowledge of clients Automation and Warehousing solutions/applications.
  • To promote and sell clients advanced and high-performance Automation solutions often linked with end of the line Packaging Automation.
  • This position will be based out of Hyderabad/South and the sales target will range from 40 to 60 Crs sales revenue per annum.
  • Manage sales activity like prospecting, mailing literature to new/prospective accounts attending sales meetings, making product presentations to potential buyers. Develop leads and network of potential new business opportunities.
  • The Job includes Presales activity like researching customer process & collect input data required for solution design, validation, preparation, and lead nurturing.
  • Work with Solution engineering team to conceptualize and prepare a suitable/optimized solutions to offer to customers.
  • Build strong relationship & engagement with all stakeholders including decision makers with Key Account Management process.
  • Sell through a consultative and solutions-driven method to provide a comprehensive system/solution to our customers.
  • Manage account receivables & ensure timely collection of due payments.  

Preferred candidate profile

  • Must live in the assigned territory, travel overnight.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industry & processes related to Warehousing processes - experience in ASRS and Automation business is preferred. 
  • Experience of Capital Equipment Sale, Technological Product Sales
  • Exposure to Key segments like Food, Beverages, FMCG, Textile
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Industrial Project sales experience of 8 Years preferred. Minimum 2-3 years consultative sales experience preferably in Automation & ASRS.
  • Strong knowledge of Automation industry
