Job Description

As a member of the restaurant management team, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting in Management of Restaurant Team: - Addressing employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. - Monitoring employee performance to ensure that expectations are met and providing feedback based on service behaviors. - Assisting in supervising daily shift operations and overseeing the restaurant in the absence of higher management. Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations: - Ensuring that all employees have the necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms. - Communicating any issues regarding food quality and service levels to the Chef and Restaurant Manager. - Ensuring compliance with restaurant policies, standards, and procedures. - Managing to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. - Performing various duties within the restaurant as needed and managing opening and closing shifts. Providing Exceptional Customer Service: - Engaging with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels. - Supervising staffing levels to meet guest service needs and financial objectives. - Encouraging employees to deliver excellent customer service within established guidelines. - Handling guest problems and complaints effectively and seeking assistance when necessary. - Striving to enhance service performance and setting a positive example for guest relations. - Reviewing comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees and greeting guests. Conducting Human Resource Activities: - Supervising ongoing training initiatives and utilizing available tools for employee development. - Communicating performance expectations according to job descriptions for each position. - Coaching and counseling employees on their performance consistently. Additional Responsibilities: - Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates through various communication channels. - Analyzing information and evaluating results to identify solutions and solve problems. - Assisting servers and hosts during meal periods and peak times. - Recognizing high-quality products and presentations. - Supervising daily shift operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.,
