Responsibilities We at Poornima University, Jaipur, are looking to expand our creative team in the Fashion & Textile Design Department by hiring a dynamic and industry-savvy Fashion Design Faculty member. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of the evolving global fashion world. Skills The ideal candidate should be proficient in teaching key subjects such as Basic to Advanced Pattern Making, Garment Construction, Creative Pattern Development, Fashion Illustration (manual and digital), and CAD tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and CLO 3D. Additional expertise in Fashion Styling, Fashion Photography, and mentoring Design Projects is highly desirable. We’re especially interested in someone who thrives on experimentation and is passionate about Avant Garde and conceptual garment design, bringing a bold, forward-thinking approach to the classroom. Industry experience is highly valued, whether through collaborations, studio work, or active involvement in the contemporary fashion scene. The candidate should also be equipped to guide students in understanding sustainable practices, cultural storytelling, and global design perspectives.
