Assistant Professor of English

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of English located in Mohali. The Assistant Professor of English will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in English, developing curriculum, and conducting research in literature. The role includes preparing syllabi, delivering lectures, assessing student performance, and collaborating with colleagues on academic initiatives. The candidate is also expected to participate in departmental activities and contribute to the academic environment of the university.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in English from any premier institution/university.
• Proficiency in English Teaching and Teaching methodologies
• Experience in Curriculum Development and creating instructional materials
• Expertise in Literature and English Literature
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment
• Relevant teaching experience and an advanced degree in English or related field
• Research experience and a publication record in English Literature is a plus
