Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Data Science located in the Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Data Science courses, guiding students in their projects and research, and staying updated with advancements in the field. Responsibilities also include developing and reviewing course content, publishing research in reputed journals, and contributing to institutional growth through academic initiatives. The role also involves mentoring students and fostering a collaborative and innovative academic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Statistical Modelling
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, Power BI and SQL
• Skills in designing curriculum, conducting research, and publishing in peer-reviewed journals
• Abilities in mentoring students, collaborative teamwork, and contributing to academia
• A PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills
• Experience in academia or industry-based Data Science applications is a strong advantage
