Job Description

Must be a dynamic academic professional with a passion for legal education, research, and contributing to the intellectual growth of students in a vibrant academic environment

Role & responsibilities

Deliver high-quality lectures in core and specialised areas of law
Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for diverse learner groups
Develop and update course curricula aligned with UGC guidelines
Prepare comprehensive course materials, case studies, and assessments
Supervise and mentor UG & PG students
Guide students in moot court competitions, legal research projects, and dissertations
Conduct practical training sessions including legal drafting, pleading, and advocacy skills
Stay updated with emerging legal trends, landmark judgments, and legislative reforms
Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and faculty development programs
Assist in curriculum development, accreditation processes and academic audits
Teaching or research experience at the university/college level is preferred

Preferred candidate profile

Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university (UGC-recognized or equivalent)
Innovative teaching methodologies and pedagogical skills
Proficiency in MS Office and online teaching platforms
Undertake original research in areas of legal specialization
Good communication and presentation skills
High ethical standards and integrity
