Job Description

A Senior Consultant from an NMC- recognised / NBEMS- recognised (or otherwise approved) medical institution, with requisite PG qualification (e.g. MD in Psychiatry), may be considered for appointment as Professor.
To become eligible as a Professor, the candidate must have at least three years of full-time teaching experience (after becoming eligible as Senior Consultant / PG teacher) in a dedicated department/unit of that specialty in a recognized institution.
The department/unit must be an exclusive department for that specialty - with separate dedicated infrastructure & faculty, not a shared or merged department.
Alternatively, three years full-time experience in a nationally reputed institute of excellence (in India or abroad), or an institute of national importance with a dedicated department for the specialty, may also qualify.
The candidate should also have a recognized postgraduate qualification in the specialty (e.g. MD/DNB in Psychiatry).
Must need LOP (letter of permission)
