Job Title: Psychiatrist ( Part-time / Online and Offline Consultant) SolForge is seeking a licensed and qualified Psychiatrist to join our growing mental health team. The ideal candidate may be a fresher or experienced practitioner, but must demonstrate strong clinical competence, ethical practice, and a commitment to accessible mental health care. The psychiatrist should be willing to provide online consultations and collaborate with psychologists and therapists at SolForge for integrated client care. While the psychiatrist may maintain an external practice, they should ensure availability for scheduled online sessions and coordinate with our clinical team as needed. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans following DSM-5 and ICD-10/11 criteria. Review psychological assessments and therapy reports submitted by SolForge’s psychologists and provide relevant psychiatric inputs. Prescribe psychotropic medications in compliance with Indian medical and telemedicine regulations. Offer medication management, track treatment progress, manage side effects, and revise prescriptions as required. Maintain clear, confidential medical records as per ethical, legal, and organizational standards. Provide psychoeducation to clients and caregivers regarding mental health conditions, medications, and therapeutic outcomes. Collaborate closely with SolForge’s clinical psychologists, counsellors, and case coordinators for holistic client care. Stay informed on emerging research and innovations in psychiatric practice. Qualifications & Requirements: MBBS + MD/DNB in Psychiatry from a recognized institution. Valid and active license to practice psychiatry in India, including: Registration with State Medical Council or MCI/NMC. Authorization to prescribe medications via online platforms, compliant with Indian telemedicine guidelines. Fluent in Malayalam and English for smooth communication with diverse clients. Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic accuracy, and ethical decision-making. Comfortable working with clients across various age groups, backgrounds, and mental health concerns. Reliable internet connectivity and digital consultation skills to ensure smooth virtual appointments.
