Assistant Professor in Computer Science

We seek a highly motivated and qualified individual with a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field who can contribute to the department’s mission through teaching, research, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, including core and specialized topics (e.g., Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a productive research agenda, with publications in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
• Seek external funding to support research and student involvement.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in academics and research.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university service and committee work.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and industry partners on interdisciplinary projects.
• Stay current with developments in the field and integrate them into teaching and research.

Qualifications:Required:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline (completed by the time of appointment).
• Masters In computer science M. Tech In CSE (Preferred)
• Demonstrated potential or record of excellence in teaching and research.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• Postdoctoral experience or relevant industry experience.
• A record of scholarly publications and research funding.
• Experience teaching or developing curriculum at the university level.
• Ability to teach in high-demand areas such as AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or Quantum Computing.
