Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jalandhar for an Assistant Professor in Civil Engineering. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lectures, planning and conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental development. The role also involves assessing student performance, guiding student projects, and supporting academic and extracurricular activities within the institution.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Civil Engineering principles, structural analysis, and design concepts
• Strong understanding of research methodologies, project development, and academic writing
• Effective teaching and communication skills, with the ability to deliver lectures and mentor students
• Competence in using AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, and other relevant civil engineering software
• Master's or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a related field (NET/SET qualification is highly desirable)
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with advancements in the field
• Prior teaching or industry experience will be considered an asset
