Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab is the first university in India incubated by IBM as an Anchor Partner. With RERT as an Academic Partner and Tata Technologies & ANSYS as industry Partners, the university is established under the Punjab State Act No. 22 of 2021. It also has recognition from the UGC. The university provides state-of-the-art education and training with a focus on skill development in technology and engineering fields.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Rupnagar for an

Assistant Professor and Technology Trainer in the CSE/IT

. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, skilling and supervising student projects, and conducting research. Duties also include providing academic advising, participating in faculty meetings, and contributing to the university's mission of providing high-quality skilling education.

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology courses
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Expertise in the emerging technologies like AIML, Cybersecurity, Data science.
  • Experience or collaboration with industry to integrate practical skills into academic programs
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Experience in the use of emerging technology in real life problem solving.
