Job Description

Industry: Food & Beverage / FMCG Location: Moga, Punjab Qualification: B.Tech Food Technology General Job Responsibilities: Execute daily production plans based on schedule and demand. Monitor line performance and ensure production targets are met within defined timelines. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth line operations. Monitor critical control parameters in packaging and seasoning to ensure consistency and product quality. Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage. Ensure correct setup and operation of equipment like packaging machines, conveyors, sorters, and seasoning drums/sprayers. Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, and company food safety protocols. Work closely with the QA/QC team to resolve quality deviations and conduct root cause analysis. Implement corrective actions for non-conformance in packaging or seasoning parameters. Supervise and manage shop floor manpower including operators, contract workers, and line technicians. Plan shift rosters and ensure proper utilization of workforce. Conduct on-the-job training for operators on equipment handling, hygiene, and SOPs. Maintain production records, shift logs, and process parameters as per internal and regulatory requirements. Prepare daily production reports, material consumption, downtime analysis, and efficiency metrics. Ensure all safety protocols and hygiene practices are strictly followed in the production area. Conduct regular audits and participate in safety drills and training sessions.
