Assistant Production Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Responsible for manufacturing and assembly of equipment in accordance with the EXHEAT Quality System and Policy. Day to Day manpower and material management of the production department. Work with planning to identify and resolve shortfalls/bottlenecks in production scheduling. Monitoring and reporting of under/overspends on material and labour costs. Drive a quality culture that delivers high confidence in part and system conformity and identify areas for improvements making sure systems are embedded within all working practises. Conducting annual & periodic reviews and trend analysis with action plan. Ensure a culture of continuous improvement and development initiatives. Ensure compliance of builds meet client specific requirements and conform to relevant technical documentation. Ensure production areas are maintained and always organised. Ensure entire plant and machineries are healthy having timely preventive maintenance. Reporting and resolving job discrepancies. Conducting disciplinary/grievance procedures in accordance with EXHEAT and Legislative guidelines. Communication with internal and external stakeholders, updating on progress and project developments. Attending daily / weekly production meetings. Knowledge of ASME and relevant standard Ongoing employee development, identifying skill shortfalls and actioning as appropriate. Ensure compliance with all EXHEAT and Legislative Health, Safety, Fire & Environment requirements, and policies always. Ensure compliance with all Risk, COSHH and Manual Handling requirements and policy`s always. Perform regular professional reviews on subordinate staff. To support and aid the training of any trainee/new staff as required. Preferred candidate profile : Preference : Manufacturing industry experience in electric process heating equipment and Control systems related product, Pressure vessels Location: IMT Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana Travelling: Required to travel UK and Mumbai, as needed.
