Assistant Plant Controller

As a Business Analyst/ Assistant Plant Controller at our company, you will play a crucial role in analyzing business processes and financial data to enhance efficiency and productivity. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, cost analysis, inventory management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage plant budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with corporate objectives. - Analyze plant costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions for improved profitability. - Calculate MHR, product costing, profitability analysis, and reconcile financial profitability with costing profitability. - Manage and control plant inventory, conduct cost analysis, manage risk, and optimize stock levels. - Conduct plant visits to identify gaps and report to management with corrective action plans. - Calculate and report Machine OEE with analysis and action plans. - Book monthly cost centers and report actual expenses against planned. - Review and approve purchase orders at the controlling level. - Perform detailed itemized cost analysis and reporting, including material consumption and reconciliation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and analyze data to inform business decisions. - Participate in testing new systems and processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts. - Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations. - Support financial goals and operational improvements by working with plant management, cross-functional teams, and other departments. Qualifications: - Partly Qualified CA, CMA, or MBA (Finance/ Business Analysis) with a Bachelor's degree. Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst/ Plant Controller or in a related role. Additional Details: Our work style includes a 6-day workweek (Monday to Saturday) with a requirement for working from the office (WFO). Your role as a Business Analyst/ Assistant Plant Controller will require strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an understanding of project costing and product costing.,
