Description

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Pipe Fitter to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper installation and repairs.
Support lead pipe fitters in measuring and cutting pipes to required lengths and specifications.
Help in the assembly and installation of valves, fittings, and other components of piping systems.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Provide assistance in troubleshooting and resolving piping system issues.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in pipe fitting or a related field.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with various types of piping materials and installation techniques.
Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards in India.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with other workers.
