Description

The Assistant Operator-Finishing Machine will support the production process by operating and maintaining finishing machines. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality output, assist in troubleshooting, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor finishing machines to ensure optimal performance and output quality.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on finishing machines to prevent downtime.
Read and interpret work orders and production schedules to meet output targets.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during operation.
Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of production output and machine performance.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of finishing machines and their operation.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Basic computer skills for recording and monitoring production data.
