Assistant Mgr SC Finance

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting and finance business partnering activities of the plant/unit in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh, India. Your main objective will be to drive cost efficiency, manage margin expansion projects, develop annual budgets, and lead improvement projects to ensure plant profitability and compliance with audit procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the plant head to define cost negotiation strategies, control variances, and review reconciliation processes with co-packing customers - Drive cost efficiency by collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction ideas - Validate Monthly Oxygen CI savings workings promptly after Books Close - Conduct physical stock verification and reconciliation at the end of each month - Manage CAPEX budgeting and provide monthly updates/reviews - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work on margin expansion projects - Develop plant profitability targets for the year and create the annual budget for review - Review and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing on an annual basis - Manage statutory audit effectively and ensure clean Audit Implementation with zero major issues/observations - Lead improvement projects to simplify processes and improve efficiency and productivity Qualification Required: - Post Graduation or Chartered Accountant qualification - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision - Strong team player with effective communication skills in English - Integrity to make objective decisions to enhance the P&L bottom line - Good business sense with a commitment to meeting deadlines - Proactive, organized, and problem-solving mindset - Knowledge of financial policies and controls - Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems is a must - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analytics Company Details: The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
