Job Summary:

MEP Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, review, and implement electrical systems for real estate projects including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low voltage systems.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other MEP professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and drawings in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
Liaise with contractors, vendors, and consultants for timely execution of electrical works.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, IS codes, and energy efficiency standards.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and value engineering for electrical components.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and post-handover phases.
Maintain documentation and reports related to electrical systems and project milestones.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
5–6 years of relevant experience in MEP electrical works within the real estate or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.).
Familiarity with Indian electrical codes and standards (IS, IEC, NBC).
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
