Job Description

The Application Management Support professional will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users regarding software applications utilized within the organization. This role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to application performance, functionality, and access. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining application documentation, tracking issues, and collaborating with other teams to ensure optimal application performance. You will be expected to: - Provide first-line support for users experiencing application-related issues. - Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with application software and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary. - Respond to and resolve incidents logged through the helpdesk system. - Document and prioritize application-related incidents and issues in the helpdesk ticketing system. - Work with end-users to gather information for troubleshooting and ensure complete incident resolution. - Assist with monitoring the health and performance of the application system. - Identify and report recurring issues or areas of improvement in application performance. - Coordinate with IT infrastructure, development, and other support teams to address issues in a timely manner. - Provide feedback on user requirements and enhancements to improve application usage. - Participate in application deployment and upgrade processes as necessary. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in application support or IT helpdesk and be familiar with common business applications such as ERP, CRM, and HRIS systems. Basic understanding of software application troubleshooting, familiarity with issue tracking and helpdesk ticketing systems, and knowledge of SQL queries and database systems are required. Experience with cloud-based applications like Office 365 and Salesforce is advantageous. Moreover, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role. Experience in providing support for enterprise applications is a preferred skill.
