Job Description

As a Retail Trainer at The Organic World, your primary role will be to train store staff on product knowledge, customer service, and standard operating procedures. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting regular onboarding training for new recruits (store staff, assistants) - Delivering refresher/training sessions on product updates, promotions, and compliance - Designing training materials tailored to organic/natural products such as presentations, manuals, and quizzes - Assessing training effectiveness through tests, feedback, and store audits You will also be responsible for: - Deeply understanding organic/natural products including organics, non-GMO, certifications, sourcing, and benefits - Educating staff on product differences, usage, storage, and staying updated with industry trends - Training staff on store SOPs including customer service, hygiene, inventory, and merchandising - Enforcing brand standards, quality checks, and monitoring store execution Additionally, you will: - Work with store heads to identify performance gaps and provide one-on-one coaching for improvement - Collaborate with HR, store management, and marketing for training needs - Collect feedback from trainees and stores to continuously improve training modules Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree - Proven experience in retail training/facilitation, preferably in FMCG, organic, or natural products - Strong communication and presentation skills in Kannada, English, and local languages - Passion for organic, sustainability, health, and wellness - Ability to travel across stores and conduct onsite training - Good knowledge of product certifications, supply chain, and quality Desirable/Bonus Skills: - Experience in the organic/natural/wellness industry - Knowledge of Indian organic certification bodies (e.g., NPOP) - Ability to create e-learning/digital training modules - Multilingual skills Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Improvement in staff knowledge test scores - Increase in sales per staff post-training - Reduction in product returns/complaints - Store audit scores (compliance, execution) - Staff retention/satisfaction If you are passionate about organic products, sustainability, and retail training, and possess the required qualifications and skills, we encourage you to apply by sending your CV to lakshmik@theorganicworld.com.,
