Assistant Manager - Tax Reporting & Compliance - Global Service Centre

Role Overview: As an Asst Manager / Manager- Taxation at DP World Global Service Centre in Navi Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Finance team in managing the accounting activities of one of the Subsidiary Companies of DP World. Your responsibilities will include finalization of accounts, audit, financial planning and analysis, financial and management reporting, tax accounting, and working capital management. You will work closely with other Managers to oversee a team of Accountants and ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage day-to-day activities for VAT and corporate tax purposes - Review tax preparation and tax returns - Oversee tax reconciliations and customs reconciliations reports with the books - Provide guidance on tax compliance requirements to finance and non-finance departments - Supervise the tax refunds process and follow up on tax audit queries with internal & external auditors - Monitor changes in tax laws/regulations and assess their impact on the organization's operations - Support in assessing tax compliance requirements for new projects Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in accounting or finance & ACCA or equivalent - Minimum of seven years of experience in VAT, corporate tax & transfer pricing - Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws & knowledge in worldwide tax law is a plus Additional Details: DP World is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
