Job Description

As the Assistant Manager Finance at Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh, India, your overall role objective is to take on the responsibility for the entire accounting and finance business partnering activities of the plant/unit. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with the plant head to define cost negotiation strategy with co-packing customers, control and review variances vs. agreed cost, and conduct reconciliations. - Drive cost efficiency in the plant by collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver Continuous Improvement (CI) and drive cost reduction ideas to minimize wastage and achieve productivity targets. - Validate Monthly Oxygen CI savings workings by the 4th day after Books Close under Project Oxygen. - Perform physical stock verification and reconciliation at every month end. - Handle CAPEX budgeting, including monthly updates/reviews. - Lead margin expansion projects and work closely with Cross-Functional Team (CFT) teams. - Establish plant profitability targets for the year as input for the overall organization plan. - Develop the annual budget, share it with the Head of Plant and Head of Finance for review, and then finalize and share the budget with the Finance team. - Conduct annual review and verification of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routing. - Manage statutory audit effectively for the plant and ensure clean Audit Implementation with zero major issues/observations. - Lead improvement projects to ensure meeting project objectives such as process simplification, efficiency, and productivity improvement. Person Specifications: Qualification: Post Grad/ Chartered Accountant Experience: 5 years + Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required: - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. - Effective team player with good communication skills in English. - Integrity to provide objective decisions to improve the P&L bottom line. - Good business acumen, commitment, and responsibility in meeting deadlines. - Proactive, organized, and possess a problem-solving mindset. - Knowledge in financial policies/control. - Exposure to SAP or equivalent ERP system is a must. - Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel.
