Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Retail Banking to join our team in Ahmedabad. The role involves managing daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and building strong client relationships to deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day retail banking operations with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, and RBI regulatory guidelines.
• Manage customer queries, escalations, and service requests effectively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance retention.
• Support the Branch/Operations Manager in achieving business and operational goals.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior staff members.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail banking operations.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, compliance, and regulatory norms.
• Proven ability to handle client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
