Assistant Manager - Quality

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the

  Quality Management System (QMS)

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  ISO 9001

  and

  IATF 16949

  standards across the organization.
• Manage and develop the Quality team through regular training, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Lead system, process, product, and layered audits; ensure timely closure of non-conformities with effective preventive measures.
• Coordinate and manage

  external certification audits

  , liaising with certification bodies and regulatory agencies.
• Create, review, and update quality standards based on

  customer audits and specific customer requirements

  .
• Continuously review and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Conduct

  Management Review Meetings

  as per schedule.
• Plan and execute

  SPC (Statistical Process Control)

  and

  MSA (Measurement System Analysis)

  audits.
• Monitor and review the

  calibration system

  in line with the planned schedule.
• Prepare and coordinate for

  customer audits

  as per their checklists and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver QMS-related training programs across sites.
  

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  ISO 9001 & IATF 16949

  standards and requirements.
• Hands-on experience in

  internal/system/product audits

  .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in

  root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and corrective action planning

  .
• Ability to drive

  team performance, skill enhancement, and cross-functional collaboration

  .
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on

  continuous improvement
