Job Description

Position

Role Overview:

Assistant Manager – QC

Key Responsibilities:

Address and resolve
customer quality concerns and technical queries
related to adhesives or chemical products.
Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
for product complaints and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with
R&D and Production
teams to ensure continuous product improvement.
Monitor and maintain
QC records, testing data, and product specifications
.
Supervise quality testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
Ensure all QC activities comply with
ISO and company quality standards
.
Provide
technical support
to sales and marketing teams regarding product performance and applications.
Prepare
reports, MIS, and documentation
for customer interactions and corrective measures.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of
adhesives, polymers, or chemical formulations
.
Excellent
communication and analytical skills
for customer handling.
Proficiency in
MS Excel and QC documentation
.
Knowledge of
root cause analysis, product validation, and lab testing procedures
.
Team-oriented and able to work across departments.

Qualification & Experience:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry
(mandatory).
5–8 years
of experience in
Quality Control / Customer Technical Service
from the
adhesives or chemical industry
.
