We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical expertise in Python programming, Machine Learning, and AWS, coupled with a background in Chemical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience in leveraging data to drive decisions within the specialty chemicals or advanced materials manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
Analyze complex business challenges and build end-to-end data-driven solutions using Python and ML techniques.
Design, implement, and manage machine learning models and data workflows in AWS environments.
Extract actionable insights from industrial data sources including production, R&D, and supply chain systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and develop analytical models that deliver measurable value.
Interpret and structure data specific to chemical manufacturing processes for decision support.
Create clear, actionable reports and visualizations to support strategy and operations teams.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and quality through analytics.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Advanced proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib).
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, etc.).
Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, SageMaker, EC2, Lambda).
Industry experience in specialty chemicals, performance materials, or related process industries.
Ability to break down complex data problems and present clear insights to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly.
Familiarity with manufacturing data systems (e.g., MES, LIMS, ERP).
Knowledge of MLOps, DevOps practices and model deployment on cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to sustainability, process optimization, or product innovation projects in chemicals or materials.
