Assistant Manager - Property Accounting

You are a skilled and experienced Accounting Assistant Manager responsible for overseeing and managing financial processes and the accounting team. You must possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive financial efficiency within the organization. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining accurate accounting practices. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate accounting books, developing and maintaining financial reporting systems, and generating financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will supervise and mentor a large accounting team, fostering a positive work environment, overseeing day-to-day operations, and conducting performance reviews for ongoing training and development. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA in Finance preferred. Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant Manager or in a similar role is required, along with in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, team management, strong leadership, interpersonal skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, RealPage) and MS Office Suite. You must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy, possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and have property accounting experience.
