Assistant Manager - Production

Role Overview: - Responsible for the technical, quality, and cost-effective manufacturing of Dispersions Operations, including plant and process safety, health, and environmental activities. - Coordinate and manage production in shifts to achieve consistent quality targets. - Continuously improve processes to reduce batch cycle times, increase yields, and enhance operational efficiency for cost-effective production. - Guide and supervise a team to ensure product quality meets international standards. - Implement safety, health, and environmental systems in the plant, ensuring compliance with ISO standards. - Act as an incident/emergency controller during off-office hours. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and manage production to ensure consistent quality. - Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency. - Guide and supervise a team to maintain product quality standards. - Implement safety, health, and environmental systems in the plant. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and training on safety aspects for plant personnel. - Maintain discharge parameters within statutory limits and ensure plant personnel's health and hygiene. - Ensure proper PPE usage and work permit system adherence. - Provide training to plant personnel on safety, MSDS, and other related activities. - Document Responsible Care requirements continually. - Act as the EHS representative during shifts. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelors in Chemical Engineering. - Working Experience: 3-6 years. - Technical & Professional Knowledge: Chemical Process.
