Job Description

About the Role:

global financial services client in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Supervision

Oversee day-to-day fund accounting operations for Private Equity & Real Estate Funds.
Execute complex fund accounting activities with accuracy and timeliness.
Perform second-level quality checks and validations on team outputs.
Monitor deadlines, escalate issues, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
Support coaching and development for team members.

Monitoring & Escalation

Act as escalation point for complex fund accounting processes and control functions.
Monitor individual and team performance; provide regular feedback and coaching.
Identify and resolve obstacles impacting team performance or process efficiency.

Risk Management & Controls

Maintain and enhance process controls and documentation.
Propose improvements to mitigate errors and strengthen operational processes.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

45 years of relevant Fund Accounting experience, preferably in financial services or fund structures.
Experience in Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Auditing, or Business Administration.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust fund accounting and workflow management experience.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and fund accounting standards.
