Job Description

You are an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager sales with a strong background in robotics and industrial automation. Your role involves selling automation solutions across various industries such as automotive, electronics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, aviation, and heavy industries. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and managing a channel partner network to facilitate scalable growth. Your responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities in diverse sectors, creating and executing strategic sales plans, and engaging with key stakeholders like engineering, operations, and procurement professionals. You will also recruit, onboard, and develop channel partners, distributors, and system integrators across regions, providing them with sales training, technical support, and co-marketing initiatives. Account management is a crucial aspect of your role, where you will manage and expand existing accounts, focusing on long-term customer satisfaction and revenue growth. You will develop customized automation solutions tailored to client needs, lead contract negotiations, and oversee the full sales lifecycle. It is essential to stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and applications in various industries and translate technical capabilities into business value for different sectors. Collaboration and reporting are key components of your job, requiring you to work cross-functionally with engineering, applications, marketing, and support teams. You will maintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM data, and partner performance reports to ensure operational efficiency. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field (an MBA is advantageous). You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the robotics and automation industry. Demonstrated success in selling to at least three of the specified industries is essential, along with expertise in managing channel sales and indirect sales networks. Strong understanding of automation technologies such as robotics (collaborative/industrial), PLCs, motion control, and system integration is required. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills are crucial for this role. The willingness to travel up to 50% or more, including internationally if necessary, is expected. Preferred skills include familiarity with Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and IoT-based automation, as well as experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot. Multilingual capabilities are a plus, particularly for global sales and partner development. This is a full-time position with benefits such as a flexible schedule, day shift, and performance bonus.
