Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives.

Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Manage supplier relationships, resolving issues and ensuring performance.

Identify and evaluate potential new suppliers.

Manage inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize waste.

Analyse purchasing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, engineering) to ensure smooth operations.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all purchasing activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engg. or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.

[Number] years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Strong understanding of stainless steel materials and the manufacturing process.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP ,ERP systems.
