Assistant Manager/ Manager - Networking

As an Assistant Manager - Network Security, you will |of be responsible for ensuring the security and integity the organization's network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining various network security solutions to protect against potential threats and unauthorized access. You are expertise in firewalls, PIX, VPN, Cisco switches, user policy management, and internet restriction instrumental in maintaining a robust and secure network environment.

1. Network Security Architecture: Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement effective network

security architectures, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and critical assets.

2. Firewall Management: Manage and configure firewall systems to prevent unauthorized access and

protect the network against external threats. Monitor firewall logs and take appropriate actions to

respond to potential security incidents.

3. VPN Implementation and Management: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VPN connections to

enable secure remote access for authorized personnel.

4. Cisco Switch Management: Administer and maintain Cisco switches to ensure proper segmentation, VLAN

5. User Policy Management: Develop and enforce network security polcies, access controls, and user

6. Intemet Restriction and Content Filtering: Implement intemet restriction measures and content

filtering solutions to prevent access to unauthorized or harnful websites, ensuring a secure browsing

investigation, analysis, and resolution of security breaches or vulnerabilities.

8. Security Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify

11. Vendor Management: Liaise with extermal vendors and service providers to ensure the timely and

effective resolution of network security issues.

12. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to- date documentation of network security

configurations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

Proven experience in network security management and administration.

In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet).

Proficiency in VPN implementation and management.

Strong understanding of Cisco switches and network segmentation.

Familiarity with user policy management and access control mechanisms.

Experience in implementing internet restriction and content filtering solutions.

Knowiedge of security frameworks and best practices (e.g., IS0 27001, NIST).

Ability to lead security incident response and conduct security assessments.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or CISSP are a plus.
